Rock, I've only seen it. Never eaten it, but hubby's aunt made it years ago for Easter. The kids said it was wonderful. I've always been going to make it, but just don't think about it soon enough to have the ingredients. Good to see you here. I think the total exhaustion is the worst of these illnesses, and mine's been bad too. Mikie, I sure hope your doc figures out what the rash is, and know you must be worried about it. You've had a rough time of it lately, and I sure do wish you the best. Seems like the "Loungers" have never fit all of us better than it is lately. I too enjoy your verses! Diane, wishing you well with your doc also. Yes, I've always had a low temp..anywere from 96.8 to 97.6, and it's a pain in the butt to get the docs to understand the fever thing. If it doesn't show 101 they won't do anything for you here, and sometimes they won't listen. Our Aussie is definitely an outdoor dog. We bought a nice Igloo dog house for her when we got her as a pup, but she refuses to sleep in it more than a couple times during the winter. She prefers to lay out in the open. She simply gets too hot otherwise. We are going to buy a heavy mat for her, because I know the ground has to be terribly cold. Her nose doesn't seem to be healing, so she will go back to the vet the first part of next week. Leah, Pam, Barry, Jam.....hope you're all doing as well as can be. Nothing new here. I haven't been able to go see my MIL since last Friday. She's doing well with therapy, and has gotten some stronger pain pills. The walking really causes her horrible pain, but she's okay sitting up or in bed. I think the doc must have told her she won't ever be the same again, because she's given up her fight, and is more resigned to being in a w/c from now on. None of us want that, but also know it's a possibility....but why would anyone discourage her? I've checked on the Assisted Living in the town next over, and it's beautiful. Unfortunately, it's also very expensive! The stomach flu is going around sooo bad in this area. My DD, her hubby and her little ones have all had it now. The little ones evidently picked it up at Daycare. Both (3 and 1) came down with it the same night. What a mess. DD took care of one, and hubby the other. The Christmas program at one church had 3 sick the night of the program, and their parts were played by kids that hadn't even practiced. They said it was really cute though. Finished the last of my Christmas cards. My big achievement of the day. Mostly to people I've been sending cards to the past 10 months that have cancer or other severe illnesses. Sometimes getting a card in the mail and knowing you're remembered is a good thing, and makes me feel a bit 'worthwhile' as well. Nothing else to say here. Hugs to all.
