    A Christmas Lullaby ~

Hush! Hush! ... The night is so still,
A new star is glowing atop of the hill,
Hush! Hush ... The heavens are bright,
And now Angel voices fill this silent night.

    Hush! Hush! ... A baby's at rest,
Peacefully sleeping on sweet Mary's breast.
Hush! Hush! ... The shepherds bow low,
And love is suspended in all hearts that know.

Hush! Hush! ... No little lamb bleat,
While Mary remembers her memories sweet.
Oh! See! ... The kings as they come!
Laying their precious gifts down one by one.

Now ... See! ... The baby awakes!
Warmth fills each heart as each finger He takes!
    Our ... hearts ... receive heaven's best;
God laid on our doorstep His Son we now bless.

Hush! ... Hush! ... The night is so still ...
A new star is glowing atop of the hill!
Hush! Hush! ... The heavens are bright,
We join with the angels and praise Him tonight!
