I see pulmonary doctor on Monday again. Got a chest xray today, sputum test (sp?) and a PPD test along with antibiotics and inhalers for my asthma. Just looking over a fax of my blood work on Monday (when I starting feeling sick)....CBC: low RBC, high MCV, low MPV.

Does anybody now what these things mean? I know I'm going to obsess about it this weekend :-( Shoot it to me straight guys. :)

    Back to bed.

    Lova ya all,
Going to have hubby hook up pc so i can use it in bed this weekend.

Concerning your bloodwork. Don't get worked up over it. There are many reasons CBC's individual numbers can be low or high. You have to look at the whole thing, especially the percentages at the bottom. My RBC is always low. My hemoglobin used to be low until I started taking iron, now it's fine. Your doctor will interpret the CBC. They are probably more concerned with your white count than your red count at this point.

Rest, drink plenty of fluids, and try not to worry (I know that's a hard one).

    I am praying for you.
