I was told by the dr. to use Tylenol XS for pain. So I bought a bottle as my husband has arthritis as well so I got a Big bottle.
We were using it and it was not nearly as good as plain old ibuprophen for either of us.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what pain relievers do you use.

We all react differently to different meds. Tylenol EX did nothing for me either. Ibuprophen helped more..BUT these meds are a killer on your gut. Do NOT take them for prolonged use. When I first started with FM my doc suggested Tylenol arthritis. It is a longer acting med.
I take Oxycontin now, but it is not for everybody. Nothin else helped with my pain. A very good pain med, with fewer side effects is Ultram. Just make sure you eat something or it can upset your tummy. I take it on my "good days".
    Good luck
