Dear Heavenly Father, There are times when we feel we cannot possibly live alone any more. There are times when we feel weak in our loneliness. We know deep within us we have more strength than we realize. We also know you are with us no matter what our circumstances might be. We praise you for we know you are in every moment of our hurt. We praise you for we know you are in every moment of our trauma. We praise you for we know you are in every moment of our tragedy. Of course, there are times in our exasperation when we want to know why you don't stop all this darkness in our lives. When we ask why you do not stop the darkness, remind us the darkness is not your will or your work. Remind us the darkness in our lives is the work of Satan. Remind us every second of our lives that with your love, all of the bad times, all of the trauma, all of the tragedy, all of the hurt, all of the tears, and all of the grief will be washed away and made to be as if they never were. Remind us when we need others in the dark times we need you even more. Remind us when others hurt and disappoint us that in you there is no hurt and never any disappointment. Remind us when we think we cannot live alone we have never been alone because you have always been with us. Of course, we do not like being alone. We often ache for the companionship and friendship of others, but in you and in your love we can find peace and comfort beyond any peace and comfort another person can bring us. When we find your peace and comfort help us bring your peace and comfort to others. In your miraculous ways, in your ways we cannot often explain, bring us to a place where we are not alone any more. All these things we humbly pray in Jesus' name. Amen and Amen.
