    Hello Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around in quite a while. I hope everyone is well (or as well as can be expected). A possible new symptom just popped up and I never knew it could be associated with FM...acid reflux. I was in a local emergency from 10:45 a.m. - 6:45 p.m. Monday with tests and the like. The doctor said my blood work and chest x-ray proved that it wasn't pneumonia, despite me having upper respiratory/sinus problems for several months.

I personally thought I had walking pneumonia because of the chest pain and the tightness in my upper chest. But, unlike most people, my pain is more common in the morning hours, and wraps around to sharp pain in the middle of my back. I always heard that acid reflux was more of a burning than a tightness in the chest. Is this normal? Can anyone else provide extra insight?

    Thanks,
