A local acupuncturist who was recommended to me "employs two Japanese styles of acupuncture: Shakuju Therapy and Toyo Hari. These especially gentle methods rebalance the body without breaking the skin."

Has anyone rec'd this type of acupuncture for headaches or fibromyalgia and seen any positive results.

I have tried acupuncture (chinese and japanese) many times and cannot tolerate the needles and get very anxious during the trmt's. I also never got much pain relief.

I would LOVE to hear more about this. I tried the traditional Chinese accupuncture and I nearly passed out. I am not sure if it was the thought of needles or where they hit my nerves. If there are less invasive ways of doing it, I will try it again.

    Thanks....hope people answer...
