I've dreaded tjhis day for quite some time, and it is now over. But I won!!!!!! The judge stated at the end of the hearing that "I find you disabled". So anyone out there waiting to see if they qualify, keep your chin up. I am now going to take a nap, as I've not been up this early (6:30am is when we left for the hearing) in a long time. Take Care, and thanks to all of you that have kept me in their thoughts and prayers.

I really appreciate it. As for the cold one, I told my hubby, that I will certainly be ready for a glass of wine tonight, heck maybe even two glasses. Take Care!!!!!!!!!

So happy for you lynncats!!! I know how exhausting that whole process is both mentally and physically as it took me about 5 years to get approved. Im glad its behind you , now just chill and do something really nice for yourself! God Bless

    Congratulations, you can breath again.

I'd have a scotch and water with you, but you know we PWCs can't
drink unless we want to be even sicker! But, here's a toast anyway:

To a TEST, a TREATMENT, and HOPE!

Better yet, to that ONE YEAR BACK PAY! YAY!

Happy news comes now and then
That calls for a poetic pen.

Did you hear the news today?
    Lynncats triumphed all the way.

    Modestly she told the press
    Of her complete, total success.

"The facts were clear. The case is won!
    The long exhausting battle's done."

"I gave my all. I did my best.
    And now I need a well-earned rest."

I hope now that that stress is over with, you might feel a bit better too!

That was great the judge told you that at the end, too, they rarely do that; it would be agony to have to wait for the decision to arrive, it can take about 6 weeks by mail.

Hope you're having a GREAT night!
    all the best,

so much for your "congrats". You all are truly the best!!!!!

P.S. Victoria - My "rep" told me before we went in, that this particular judge, usually lets the person know before they leave what his answer is, as he doesn't want them stressing more that they have been, THANK GOODNESS!!! My hearing probably lasted about 15 minutes, the judge was great, and he was 80 years old!!

P.S. Rock, you never cease to amaze me..... I just loved your poem!!
