I apologize but I am at my witt's end with the symptoms: Not sure if it is fibro/chronic fatigue, but the doctor says it is or else it is the mystery illness. Right now, everything either hurts or aches, no appetite, nausea, lost 20 lbs. in 4 months, head/neck pain feels like I have a rod being shoved down my spinal cord, my back, arms and legs ache as if they are giving in. I have had numerous tests including blood, a EMG which the doc says is normal. I have tingling in my feet as well as my tongue and mouth. Would a pain killer relive the symptoms? If so please tell me which one as I will go to the emergency room. Advil did nothing for the problems. Thank you, sorry to sound so needy but I can't go on like this anymore. I desperately need some relief.

if your doctor feel's it is, why not give you some med's to help with the pain?

Even if it is not you still need pain relief while you are waiting to find out.

    Best wishes,

You do need some relief and you deserve to have it. Advil won't help that kind of pain. Would your Doctor refer you to a pain management specialist? I agree that he should be treating your pain now but since he isn't , you need a new Doctor soon.

I hope you stay around here. At least there are people who understand and can give you support.
