It is 9 am on the east coast. We have 2" of snow, and it is colder than it was on Christmas day. I just sat at the piano and played every single seasonal hymn. It fills my soul. I think of the 40 years I listened to sermons on Easter, while being the choir director and organist. Some churches would do well to skip a sermon on Easter Sunday, and simply sing. The children in churches I have worked for no longer know the Easter hymns, or the Christmas carols. Schools are not allowed to teach these songs. The music speaks so in itself, and the words make prayer. I have prayed for all of us here. Those who don't normally post or reply, please feel free to simply say Happy Easter with no other message needed.
