I am wondering if anyone who has M.E/CFS has had high results on this test.

Please tell me if you have.

As to whether CFIDS/ME is an auto-immune illness. Even with illnesses which are, it can take forever to get a pos. ANA. We often have multiple illnesses, some immune and some auto-immune. I have CFIDS/ME, FMS and Sjogren's Syndrome. Still, my ANA is neg. My CRP, on the other hand showed high inflammation. It takes, on average 6 1/2 years to diagnose SS. These illnesses are notoriously difficult to diagnose.

ANA's are not particularly dependable. It's just one test to help either diagnose or eliminate conditions.

I do have a positive speckled ANA.

I discovered that the root cause of my symptoms was chronic infections (Borrelia and Bartonella).

With long term antibiotic treatment, my ANA has gone down significantly.
