Here's a revival of a game we did a while back. We posted the title of a song with each word in the title scrambled separately, then the rest of us tried to unscramble it.

    Example:

    Lebu Omno is Blue Moon

While I was reading the original Anagram Game, I listened to a video that Darrae had posted of the Lichtensteiner Polka and I must say, it really cheered me up. It's a very happy sound! Loved it. GB

    Hi GB

Looks to me like the first two are Up A Lazy River and Down in the Valley.

You think it might help solve anagrams if you were dyslexic? Just
started reading a book about the Oregon Trail. Two guys retraced the
trail as much as possible a couple years ago. The author was accompanied on
the trek by his brother who was dyslexic. He used to joke, "I'm lysdexic."

I elvo ot Kolpa. Did you know you can also dance the schottische to polka music?
There are several Youtube videos titled Schottische Polka. Here is one of them.
Used to dance the polka and the schottische and folk and square dances a lot
in my teens. It's hard to be gloomy when dancing.

You're granddaughter is right, GB. C-D-O is alphabetical. The schottische (pronounced
shot-ish) is a dance. Popular in Europe as well as here in our pioneer days. Wikipedia
    has an article on it.

The most unusual thing about it is you can dance with a partner or with another
couple. Haven't done it for half a century, but it's very simple. Would probably
take a minute or less to relearn it.

Diane, Yep, you guessed correctly! I think it's harder to mix up the letters when forming the words than it is to solve them. :)

    On Moonlight Bay
    Hello Dolly

Very good, GB. Your answers fit perfectly. "Sam you made the pants too long" is
an old song. You can hear it on Youtube, but it doesn't have much merit outside
of the unusual title in MHO. It is associated with Milton Berle and that singer with
the big nose and even bigger ego that many people find absolutely wonderful.

Glad to hear you can still be cheerful and hopeful. I can't do it any more.

    Hugs

Hi GB, I guess it may take a little time for Don to show up. Just read he passed on
last year. Was 96. He's probably busy donning his halo and angel wings.

Yes, it's always good to know that some part of our brain is functioning. In my
case it seems to be a somewhat minor part.
