Does anyone know which of the following herbs and vitamins would cause borderline anemia. I have FMS and CFIDS and take the following:
FM/CFS Multi, Colostrum, Lysine, Acidopholis, Glucosamine Condroitin and a Phyto Estrogen complex from GNC with B vitamins , Calcium, magnesium, borage oil, soy isoflavones, black cohosh root and Red clover extract. I also take Vioxx for the pain.
I appreciate any info you can give me.
    Thanks,
    Rose Marie

The only things I take that are on your list are the calcium and magnesium, but I also flirt with anemia. My guess would be "none of the above", but I am curious as to why you feel your anemia may be due to one of your supplements.

    Hi Kitty,
Thanks for your reply. Some years ago when I was taking Megadoses of Vit C, my blood became too thin so I was wondering if another of my supplements could be the cause. I'm hoping it's not the Vioxx. They work much better than the Tylenol Arthritis I take instead.
I'm a cat person too! Also have a dog, but cat's can do no wrong in my eyes.
    Thanks,
