Okay.. I'm not new to message boards but I just have to know what the "bump" posts do. I know everyone says bump so more people can respond but how does that work? Do our posts disappear if no one reponds? My last post didn't seem to move anywhere different. Dumb I know... I'll catch on sometime :)

It took me awhile too so don't feel dumb.

It seems that, if there's no action on a post, especially on a busy day, it can disappear out into the ethers somewhere. So a "b" or "bump" is a way to keep the post near the top where people will see it.

As for your post not moving, if you go waaaaay up to the top of the screen in your toolbar and wave your cursor around, you'll find the Refresh button. Click on that periodically and you'll see the postings change position. I just learned that one and I've been posting here for a few years.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Marta...

That makes sense. Thanks for bumping my earlier post.

Patty, I'll bump a post I read, even if I have no response or I'm too weary to respond, just to show I read and appreciate it.
