Is there any males on here with FM/CFS ? Just wondering because men get this also, not as often as women though. I personally don't know any males with it.

There are many men here. I have FM since last june almost a year now. Most of the guys here don't post very often.

Besides the FM I believe that I also have CF as well but have not been DX with it yet.

Oh and welcome to the board.

I've had CFS for about fifteen years, and have been disabled for a year with it. I also have a good friend from college who has had CFS for ten years, but he's able to work right now.

I've had FMS for 7 years but only got a diagnosis 1 year ago!
Was suffering in LIMBOLAND for 6 long years wondering what was
wrong. Was it MS or cancer ?
Was actually relieved when I found out it was Fibromyalgia.
At least you don't die from it.
But there are some who joke you may wish you did 8*)

Inside my frail, listless body is a tough, rugged he-man just itching to burst forth.

about 25 years. Worked part time. The last couple years I often worked only 2 hours a day, sometimes missed altogether.

Now that I've retired I have even less energy. Most days I do nothing or next to it.

Good thing I've kept my sense of humor and my stunning good looks.

Yes....a sense of humor is always good to have, I still have mine also, haven't lost it yet ! 25 yrs. is a long time, sounds like you are coping pretty well. I'm going on 6 yrs. and have had enough of it.Hope I can last that long
