I am using Subutex (buprenorphrine) which is similar to Naltrexone.

I have had very good luck with it. I take 16 mg day, dissolved under my tongue (4 mg 4X day). I have been using it for about 5 months. My pain levels are now a 1 or 2 - then I can get by with a Tylenol.

The doctor does not know how it works but it blocks the pain receptors in your brain.

I originally started Subutex to get off of MS Contin without withdrawals. It is a great drug.

Subutex (buprenorphrine) is not similar to naltrexone. One is a full antagonist, the other a partial agonist/antagonist.

LDN may be what the above poster was curious of.
