I've seen a Homeopath twice now and he has been great! First Dr. who has ever really listened to me in 24 years!!He's also an M.D which is unusual I think. It's too early to say if his treatments are working,I'll keep you all updated! He also refered me to an Endocinologist as he found a nodule on my Thyroid and is certain that amongst other things I am now very hypothyroid ( I have Hashimotos)
anyone else seen a Homeopath, what did you think??

I have also visited a homeopath. So far, I have not had any improvement but he was the first doctor to sit down and talk to me properly. From that alone I derived benefit. Mine is also an MD and I read somewhere that they have to qualify as MDs before they specialise as homeopaths.

Lets keep each other updated ...

I see a Dr. of Osteopathy, that specializes in Fibro and CFS. I cannot tell you the difference this has made. He treats with conventional rx'es, vitamins, supplements, herbs, and other alternative meds and treatments. I went through such a long period of no treatment at all, prior to finding him. Like most I was just trying to convince those Drs. that something, indeed was terribly wrong with me.
Now, I have an advocate, and am receiving treatment which is working! I have been seeing him for almost 6 months. Together we have gotten my systemic candida cleared up, my IBS is now asymptomatic, my pain is under control, and my sleep has greatly improved. I have an appointment next week to begin to tackle the extreme exhaustion which is next on my "hit list". Best wishes with your new Doctor---I couldn't be happier with mine.

On Monday past, I saw my first one.
    He's a D.O. and an M.D. also. I liked him quite a bit.
We're working on the CFS; he's the first to diagnose it. He knew by looking at me that I
had mono/EBV within the last 5 years.
He says it will take 6 months to get my immune system back up to speed.
Meanwhile, I'm going to try a colonic, and probably go for massage and reflexology.
I believe I also have IBS and candida overgrowth. I've always had bowel troubles.
I have high hopes with this fellow.

    Wishing us all luck...

    Nancy
