    Hello Everyone,

I have been going to the room, and decided to post here. I'm not used to posting on message boards, but thought I would maybe just give it a try.

My question is: "Is there any relation to CFS and Pneumonia or Bronchial Infections"? Meaning, I guess, does anyone know if these infections happen to people with CFS more often than the usual "Joe" on the street that doesn't have CFS? I wonder because I get this a lot and keep getting boughts of it over the past year especially.

This could be a long shot here, but I'm hoping to find out if this is just me or if anyone else has this experience... and if so, what has worked for you/them to clear it up quickly before it turns so bad.

Thank you for your time and attention.

My daughter has CFS and has been diagnosed with Mycoplasma Pneumoniae, every time she gets a cold she has a bad chest with a lot of flem.
My Stepson is prone to getting Bronchitis and usually has antibiotics.
In January, he was bad again, but this time I gave him and my daughter too, a product by Higher Nature with Echinacea, Black Elderberry, Olive Leaf Extract and Myrrh. Within 3 days the improvement was tremendous...

I also gave them Multi Vits & Minerals and Vit C.

It was fantastic. Definately worth a try and not expensive either.

May you have better health soon

    Love Pat.

Welcome to our board. Your question may be one of those chicken-and-egg things. Do we get more infections of opportunity because our immune systems are broken with CFIDS, or do these infections trigger CFIDS in us?

There is a strain of mycoplasma which causes pneumonia and it can be in an active stage and then go stealth in our bodies. Mycoplasmas are the dickens to get rid of. It takes long-term treatment with antibiotics.

    Love, Mikie

    Hi Pat & Mik~

Thank you for your answers and suggestions. I appreciate them very much! Thanks for the welcome too! :)

I think I will most definate bring this subject up to the specialist as soon as I get in to see them. Your replies made me really think this through and maybe there is a way to combat this junk!

I hope to hear from you again.
    Take Care,
    Cosette :)
