At my PT session today, my therapist gave me a treatment with a TENS unit, both for my shoulder pain and for my jaw. At first, it seemed that the pain got worse, but then it seemed to get better. I still can't raise my right arm to the side more than 90 degrees, but I think the steady, throbbing pain seems to have eased off. I understand that TENS units often are used in treating people with fibromyalgia. Before I invest in buying one, I want to get some feedback from people who have tried it. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience with TENS. --Laura R.M.
