for energy?? I made another little trip to a new health food store and ask, what was the best thing to help with energy...

She told me to give Pantothenic Acid a try, for energy...So I bought some, 400mg to be taken 2x a day, between meals.

This lady really tripped me out at the health store, I forget what you call it, but she went to school for several years, she is able to look into your eyes and tell what your body is lacking etc... I dont know how true this is...but I give her this, she hit the nail on the head so to speak with me.

Before I told her anything, she said you have chronic Fatigue and FMS..then she went on to say, I have IBS, being more constipated then anything. She said I needed to get my blood in order..

She recommended as well, I start a detox, which I bought as well.

Just curious if any have taken this for energy and if you had any good results from it. I haven't done any resarch on it yet.

Pantothenic acid is crucial for your adrenal glands, so if your adrenal glands are weak, chances are you are deficient in pantothenic acid. And if your adrenals are weak, that will make you tired, so pantothenic acid can help with energy by helping your adrenal glands.

Several years ago I had chronic sore throats with burning feet which I never mentioned to my doctor because I figured he would think I was crazy. Anyways, I was reading an old nutrition book by Adelle Davis and discovered that the sore throat and burning feet were symptoms of pantothenic acid deficiency.

So much our doctors don't know!

You should take a good B complex vitamin as well, because pantothenic acid is part of the B complex.

Ralph~~ I'm pretty sure she was looking into the iris. I think I remember seeing something about iridology posted on the front door, she looks (reads) your eyes, if you plan on purchasing something anyway, she helps guide you in the right direction.

I didn't even know about this lady(or the store), until a friend of mine told me how much she has helped put her on the right track to feeling much better.

Yea, it really did kind of trip me out though, she was good and everything she said and was reading in my eyes was all so true.

She wants me to come back after doing the detox of the liver, to get started on something for my Thyroid...which is borderline right now and she knew this without me saying anything about it first....Way to Kool...LOL

Even told me about my eating habits(which are bad by not eating 3 meals a day), how I needed to eat small meals every couple hours and have something like Almonds inbetween meals...I was really impressed!!

Really curious to hear how your appt. goes tomorrow!! Please post how it went!!!

Do you have any other suggestions you can give me for energy??? I have never been as fatigued in my life, as I am right now and it seems to be getting worse. I am taking a B12 shot once a month and other Vit. B's!! So anything you can add that may help with my energy level would be greatly apperciated more then you know!! I'm willing to try anything for more energy, at this point.

a few weeks ago for my painful feet as recommended by Jeanne from Canada.

I have recently been told by a nutritionist that all B vitamins should be taken at the same time or they wont work as well, thats why a Bcomplex is good.

I dont know if this willhelp me, too early to say but I am sticking with it for now.

    Good luck.

    Roise~~ Thanks a bunch!! I'm taking a B~Complex as well, along with a B12 shot, Once a month.

I just started the Pantothenic Acid today. I pray, I have a increase in energy soon, it has really gotten me down and very behind on things, I need to do.

Seems here lately even trying to clean my home, a little at a time, is almost impossible. I have been taking all the B's faithfully for at least a good 6 months now and I see no real increase in engery, even though I can tell when it's time for my B12 shot, so it muct be helping some.

Im so tired of being tired,I know you can relate.

The Pantothenic Acid im taking is 250mg, was told to take it 2x a day between meals. How much are you taking??

I hope it helps you, please let me know if you see a big difference after taking it awhile...I'll keep you posted as well.

Bluerose -- if your adrenal glands are weak, you might try taking an adrenal glandular product in addition to the pantothenic acid and B vitamins. This helped me a lot for adrenal fatigue.

You can buy adrenal glandular products at the health food store and get them through some chiropractors and other health care practitioners.

I've taken Drenatrophin PMG by Standard Process (one of Ralph's favorite companies), Cytozyme AD by Biotics and Adrenogen. All worked pretty well, I got them all from chiropractors. There is one website I know where you can buy them on-line - Spinelife.

I think it's actually cheaper to get the products from the chiropractors or Spinelife than from the health food store. Also, I think the products are better than what you get at the health food store.

I was helped a great deal by a chiropractor who does muscle testing (which Ralph also talks about a lot). This chiropractor diagnosed my weak adrenals, gave me the Drenatrophin, he also helped with my liver detox and several other things. I would have been much worse off without him. If you want to find one, look in yellow pages, see if they advertise kinesiology or nutritional counseling, and just call them too and ask. I stumbled across mine by accident. He helped much more than doctor ever did.

I will definately look into it and possible give Drenatrophin PMG by Standard Process a try!!

I am willing to try anything now, for more energy!!

I just hope, I dont take to much of everything..lol

Seems like my Vitamin, Supplement list is getting longer, I have heard you can take to much, as with anything to much of can be as harmful as not enough.

Here is a total list of Vitamins etc.. Im taking now(not including my prscribed meds)

    Muti-Vitamin - 1 a day
    B complex - 1 a day
    B12 shot - 1 a month
Probotic - 1 every other day
Pantothenic Acid - 2x a day between meals
Liver Detox - 3x a day (just started, only 1 bottle to be taken, then will stop)
    Extra Vitamin C 500mg - 1 a day

Would like to give Garlic and Grapeseed a try, as well(possibly- the Drenatrophin PMG by Standard Process and Magnesuim/Malic Acid(sp)

Anyone think this may sound like to much at one time???

    Thanks again Mary!!

I was only taking 200mg Pantothenic Acid but have upped it to 400 x 2 since reading your post.

    I take the following supplements:

Echinacea - tincture with water - I take a bottle every few months

    Pantothenic Acid
    Flaxseed Oil
    Cod Liver Oil
    Evening Primrose
ZMA - at night, bought from this store, it has magnesium, B6 and Zinc and it helps me with leg pain at night
    Milk Thistle for liver support
    Probiotic 1 daily

Yea, the lady at the health food store, who actually reads your eyes for what your lacking, said she could tell I was several Fatigued(so true).

She was saying I needed at least 250mg twice a day of Pantothenic Acid...

Maybe the increase will help you as well. Hope we both will see a difference in energy.

I think I will add the grapeseed and garlic as well(I know some of said the garlic really helped with bloating etc) and possbily what Mary was telling me to try for adrenal glands. After seeing your list, mine dosn't look all that long..lol I guess as long as you dont get to much of one thing, it should be fine.

I think, I have read somewhere, as far as the B Vitamins if your getting to much, the excess just goes through the urine.

Keep me updated, if you begin to tell a difference with the pantothenic acid.

I happend across one at the health food store also. My friend who was with me is the most skeptical person I know. She decided to do it also. I didn't stay around while she was having it done, thinking it is personal and my friend is very private.

When we got to the car, I said so.... did she see your teenage care accident (mind you she's in her 40s at the time). Well indeed the iridologist saw that she had broken her back and was in a coma when she was younger. Most everyone we know doesn't know about this incident, again she is so private. This made us believers.

Thanks for the reminder, I should make an appointment with her and see (no pun intended) what's going on with me, and what she suggests.

I hope you found it as interesting as we did, and take her advice, she pegged me and made great suggestions.

Specialist put me on it. Still don't have enough energy to keep awake!!
Mind you that could be down to 'running' round after 5 kids!!
Good luck with it. Hope it works.

dafoefan~~ Yes, your right she was a iridologist. I too, found it very interesting and right shocked at all she was telling me was so true. She right off the bat, could see the Chronic Fatigue and FMS, as well as other things like my thyroid etc... I'm taking her suggestions and trying a few things now and I think I will go back to start on something for my thyroid after finishing the liver detox. ~Hugs~

Sandra~~ I hope you will have a increase in energy soon!! I'm sure 5 kids can take alot of energy. I applaud you, I dont no if I could do it. ~~Hugs~~

I decided to buy some. My worry is that it will give me panic attacks or palpitations. Seems I react to anything that helps with energy and the adrenals.

    Anyone else?

    BLUEROSE7 New Member

I too have Panic attacks and severe anxiety. But sence starting the Pantothenic Acid, I have had no problems with it...But I have only been on it for about 5 days now, at 250mgs 2x a day.

I hope it will help increase your energy and not cause panic attacks or palpitations!!

For me though taking anything to help increase energy dosent cause me to have attacks(knock on wood)... Maybe some one will come along who has dealt with the same.

Good Luck & keep us posted on how your doing on it!!
