I live in Eureka, CA. It is 300 miles north of San Francisco on Highway 101.

Still dark here now, but think it's going to be an OK day here. Not warm, but at least a little sunny.

    Take care,

    Hi Karen,

I live in Healdsburg...just North of Santa Rosa (North of San Francisco), in the middle of Sonoma County Wine Country! The grape crush is in full swing right now. Too bad I can no longer enjoy wine! I swell up & feel icky when I drink alcohol. (Probably a yeasty reaction!)

Yesterday was downright dreary, but I'm seeing some blue sky this A.M.! Hope the sun comes out again!

Happy Wednesday to all! Anybody look forward to watching "LOST" tonight?!!!

    Blessings & Hugs,

I'm here in San Jose. Now that we know there are so many people in CA, anyone want to give recommendations for good Drs. to help with this illness?

    Dear Karen,
I'm a native born Californian, from San Francisco. I lived in the Bay Area for a long time, and now live in Pardise, a small, bedrooom community in the foothills of the Cascade/Sierra Ranges. I'm about 2 hours north of Sacramento.

About a Dr. in the Bay Area, Dr. R.O.Waiton is a rehabilitation specialist and can really help with SSI. He is also a Nobel Prize winner . Dr. Waiton is on the "good Dr. " list for this website. His office is on Almendra Street in Los Gatos. He is knowledgable and kind.

If you go see him, say "Hello"from an old patient, and her dog, Joe.

I'm a native Southern Californian, soon to transplant to Northern CA, next summer. My darling spouse is already up there, in Brisbane, and we hope to be living in Pacifica for awhile.

I'm looking forward to the change and the adventure.

I was born in Santa Barbara, but grew up in the Long Beach area.
I now live in Paramount, which is next to LB, but I will always be a Beach Girl, lol.

Piebear, I know, where Port Hueneme is, used to be a Surfer, back in the late 50'searly 60's.
I'm pretty sure, that's one of the Hot spots we used to stop at, when we went up the Coast.
    Beautiful up that-a-way.

I'm from So. Cal. Northern California really is so much prettier...but I live down here in Brentwood. It's not bad, just not as scenic.

I think we are the only Humboldt County residents. I have looked as I've been on this board, and no one else lives here.

Hope you had a good summer and are ready for the long, dark, rainy winter. Looks like rain's coming here today.

I saw a Dr. Dietz about FM a few months ago, and I'm not going back. He has no clue about it...just that he can't help me with it. He also didn't even look at my xrays before my visit...So, I surely do not recommend him.

    Again, take care,

My Grandmothers, my Parents, My Husband, Kids, and I are all So Cal natives.

We live in the South Bay area near Los Angeles. I love the weather, not all the people and traffic!

I am fifth generation SAN JOSEAN!! Born and raised in San Jose, California!! My relatives helped develope the San Jose area... so I really have huge roots here!!

I have been wanting to check out that doctor in Los Gatos.... hey does anyone know if he will write scrips for anything stronger than Ultram/Tramodol??

I have been trying for several years to get any of six different doctors to give me something stronger for break-through pain... without any success!!

    Hello Fellow Californians....

I live in Redding, CA which is in Northern CA on I-5. I would say we are about 2.5 hours north of CA and about 2 hours south of the Oregon border.

Beautiful here but HOT HOT HOT in the summer!!!
