I presently receive insurance disability and the insurance company is wanting me to apply for SSD thru the state of Missouri. I have heard its extremely hard to get SSD and wonder if anyone could tell me what they had to go thru to get it and how long it took.

    THANKS!

Thats normal procedure for the private insurance co. to do.They deduct the money that you get from SSDI from the check they send you.

As for SSDI being hard yes it is.Some get it first shot and others take a few years.

SSDI is Federal so it does not matter what state your in it depends on your records and Doctors reports.

PLEASE remove your email address from you profile it is against the rules of Pro Heath.

I consider mysef very lucky, to have been approved 4 1/2
months after I applyed...But,I had *alot* of documented medical information from my main Doctor & also the multipal doctors I had seen, the 3 years prior to
me applying.... plus, Xrays & MRI.

And I had a diagnosis for my illness's.
    Severe Migrianes, Fibromyalgia, MCS,CRPS,RLS,IBS,
Several painfull buldging disks lumbar area &
    Bone Spurs,unstable spine.
I have heard that if you are denied the 1st time,
get a lawyer to help you with your appeal.

There is a very good lawyer mentioned here at
Immune Support. A lady I know had him and he
won her case the first time she applyed.

    Hi Sue,

I've tried to remove my email address by going to Edit Profile and erasing it. Then I click the box below which should update it, however, it doesn't. I've even signed out and back in and its still there.

    Any suggestions?
