I have been off work since mid last year and my CFS/FM is getting worse. I am planning to apply for SSDI. I treat at the FFC and my doctor thinks we have enough evidence and is willing to prepare a substantial report with supporting data for me to submit with my application. There is a fee for this report, but my MD thinks that I have a good chance of getting benefits possibly without an attorney. I know there are no guarantees, but I want to try it. I would be interested hearing from anyone who has used a FFC doctor's help for obtaining benefits and also people who actually won their case the first time. Thanks for sharing. Any info is appreciated.
