tea. It doesn't taste good, but with honey it is not too bad. It has slippery elm in it which coats the throat and soothes it. If it is really painful the throat lozenge Cepacol works, it numbs the throat. And like was already mentioned warm salt water is very healing, but be warned if your throat is raw it will burn! Be sure to get a new toothbrush when you get over this, so you don't re-infect yourself.:) Feel better.

P.S. If you don't feel better in a few days, you might want to get checked for strep.

thanks for the tips. i've been on proboost (2x day) for about a week; i'm hoping it's just a standard immune response. i'm stopping the proboost for a couple days. if it doesn't resolve, i'll see a doc.

what's a good salt to water ratio??

    Dear Eddie,
I get those whenever I overextend. I take the Wellness Formula, eat chicken soup, and rest. I also stay away from people and wash my hands a lot.

Also, stress will bring them on. I try to eliminate causes of stress - that is really hard. :)

Good luck, hope you feel better,
    Terry
