For the last 4 winters I´ve suffered a permanent flu. It only goes away with the really hot weather (3 months a year).
I´m amazed to read here that some people with CFS NEVER get colds. I thought faringitis and flu were 2 of the typical symptoms of CFS.
Isn´t anyone else there suffering a permanent cold or flu?

i get a lot of colds, living in Louisiana the weather changes alot, so my nose is either stuffy,or runny,i have that flu like feeling all the time, either the chills or the sweats, your immune system with fibro is just all out of wack,so it just can't be just us.

    Hi Olga,

I have had the *flu like *symptoms for over a yr now.Every day!!!I have ranges for it, *mild case* *intermediate case* and then the *Bad case*.

Thank God for gravol,it is what keeps the nausea in control.I spend a lot of time lying down when its the *intermediate* and *bad* flu. It really gets me down physically & mentally.

The cold for me has been a continual drippy nose, sore throat most of the time.Feel feverish, but no fever to show.

    Overall *I FEEL YUKKIE*.

Thanks for asking. But I am sorry you are going thru it too!!!!

    Take Care!!
