I've been gone for a while. Had a nice period with no symptoms. But alas the illusion is over!!! Was at the Chiropractor yesterday and there was literature on Vitalzym, also an information tape. They are systemic enzymes. The claim is that Fibros and CFS folks have excess "Fibrin" that somehow forms over our connective and muscles tissue which when excessive causes our pain. That is why there is little in the realm of pain relievers that actually removes the pain. Anyway, supposedly the systemic enzymes "know" which and how much of the "Fibrin" to munch away and as they do this the pain diminishes and the symptoms lessen. I'm sure this is a very simplistic explanation of a very complex process!! Physiology was not my major!! Anyway, anyone tried this and had success? It's not cheap. I'm willing to give it a go, but thought I'd see if anyone else had gone before.

Chiropractor also suggested we give accupuncture a try. Anyone tried that? Heather.
