Anyone with SoCal Kaiser seeing an outside CFS specialist?

Since two CFS specialists (Drs. Galpin and Heuser) have declined to accept a referral from Kaiser Permanente to see me, I'm wondering if anyone out there in Southern California has successfully been referred to a specialist authorized by Kaiser.

With three kids in college, I can't afford to see a doctor on a cash basis. I need Kaiser to pay for it. Any names?

    Thanks,
    Kathy

Dr McCord. He is a Rheumatologist at the Panorama City Branch and also works the Lancaster branch a couple of days a week. I was refered to him by my PCP when I complained of sever body pain. It was Dr McCord who diagnosed me with FMS. Hope this helps.

I have KP so cal. Why do these doc's refuse to see you? Just wondering because I need a rheumy referral too for a Lupus test.

Do these doc's say "it's all in your head" too?

    TIA

I presume the two CFS specialists didn't like the fee KP had tried to negotiate with them before. Kaiser used to have a doctor who treated CFS at Panorama City, but he's now in administration and doesn't see patients anymore.

After a year of testing by infectious disease specialists and neurologists with negative results, my PCP diagnosed CFS, so evidently he doesn't think it's in my head. I'm not sure a rheumatologist would be helpful with my chronic fatigue. What does a rheumy do?
