    i have sleep apnea and was wondering if you have this what do you do to try to relieve this condition? i keep everyone in the house on there toes at night as my breathing stops so much and when i am breathing im making a awful noise. any ideas on what might help my situation? im desperate to get a good nights sleep!

    Have you had a sleep study? If you have and it shows that you have apnea, you can be fitted with a machine that helps you breathe at night, called a CPAP, for continuous positive airway pressure. I have been wearing one for a little over a year and it really helps me sleep better, but it didn't help the fibro. (I didn't get it because of fibro, I got it because I am really overweight and that was preventing me from breathing properly at night.) Weight loss will help with the apnea and in some cases eliminate it completely, if that is what is causing the problem.
