I've wondered if exposure to asbestos might be the cause of fibromyalgia. The exposure may have been while working in an 100+ year old building. The roof could not be replaced because it had 7 layers, one of which was asbestos. There were countless number of patches when the roof leaked and once caused considerable damage to an office. Several years later one part of the building had some asbestos removed. All precautionary measure were taken (according to officials), but most of the departments were not relocated during this process.

Is there any information out there?

    Thank you
