    hello everyone,
i have some good news for once. recently i've

been feeling like i'm getting absolutely nothing

accomplished, especially in regards to bettering my health.

i was feeling kind of down when i read that may 12th was

fibro awareness day. suddenly something clicked in my brain

and i realised there might be something i could do for

myself and fellow sufferers. i used to work at the local tv

station and still have a connection there. i got in touch

with my friend and explained about fibro awareness day and

asked if he would be interested in doing a story. he said

he would LOVE to do a story, especially since his

grandmother and aunt have fibro. so on the 12th he is going

to interview me and it will be aired later in the day! i am

so excited and wanted to share the news with you all. i

know it's only a local news station but if i can just get a

few more people to hear the word fibromyalgia i will at

least feel like i have accomplished something for me and

"my people". please suggest any certain points you think i

should specifically talk about. i will let everyone know

    how it turns out.
    love and hugs, sarah

Sarah, what wonderful news! Maybe another station will pick it up. Email them and let them know about your story.

I was interviewed by my local paper. The article will be out Thursday and I hope to post it here.

    Good work!

    God Bless.

I know one thing that I would like people to know is that we have the "invisibile disease." We may look fine. It may not show. I think that is the reason a lot of people just do not believe.

hey everyone. thank you for your comments. i will most definatly explaine how it is an invisible disease. i'm going to try to keep bumping this until friday because i really want to know what other major points about fibro that others think i should mention. tomorrow i'm going to try to get in touch with the newspaper and see if they will mention awareness day too. thanks everyone.
    hugs, sarah

What a wonderful opportunity. No suggestions about topics from me. You just being interviewed using the word 'fibromyalgia' will bring this disease a little more into the light.

what i'm most nervous about doing this whole news program is getting up early in the day. i'm starting to really psyche myself out about being able to wake up. ugh. i'm also worried about my appearance. i've gained so much weight since i've been sick and don't have any nice clothes anymore. when i'm at home all i wear is pajamas and when i'm out i wear jeans and old t shirts. but tomorrow i am going out shopping to find something better to wear. i want to be taken seriously and will not let you guys down.
