Is there a supplement I can take to prevent recurrent bacterial infections? (Vaginal) Flagyl cures, but I want to prevent.

That would be helpful for me too!

    The Florazole is yuck!

This is neither yeast nor UTI. It is bacterial vaginosis. It is caused by bacteria in the vagina. I do all the obvious things as far as cleanliness -- wipe from front to back, don't wear thongs (bacteria travels you know!) hubby only touches me with clean hands, etc. I have been having this issue off and on for a couple of years now.

Doc just says take the Flagyl and tells me to be clean. There's bound to be an underlying cause.

    Thanks for caring,

a good broad spectrum probiotic once or twice daily like the Jarrodophilus sold here - it has helped me a lot.

I've been intending to get a broad spectrum probiotic anyway for other reasons. I had not realized it could help with bacteria. Certainly worth a try.
