Hi everyone! I've been gone since Dec and now I'm back. I retired in Feb and then had my foot surgery (Morton's Neuroma). Foot is a lot better.

Still having problems with severe neck pain, just received 2nd set of injections last week (cervical facet joint injections), very painful process. Have to wait 3 weeks to see if it helps, last one didn't but hopefully this one will!

Anyone have any ideas on what I should do next if these shots don't work? I am at my wits end and can't raise my right arm.

    thanks and love to all,

I am fairly new here; about 1 1/2 month? Anyway, welcome back! Glad your foot is doing better. I had 2 anterior cervical fusions. The first one was done in march of 97, a bone fusion, which did not work. The second one was done Dec. 97 and a metal plate was placed in my neck. My right shoulder and arm gave me trouble and still does. My opinion: I would have surgery ONLY if last resort. Otherwise, do what you can to relieve the pain, which sounds like what you are doing.

    Best Wishes!
