she is terrified because of my situation...

What is the Protocol for this. Should she automatically get ABX treatment? Since I know that she may never see a bulls eye rash (only 60% of ppl do.. I think, I may be wrong).

Please advise what she should do. I am thinking preventative ABX right away... what are your thoughts??

She could always lie and say she had a rash!! I think less than 50% see a rash. I would advise anyone who was bitten to take precautionary abx. This illness is just too debilitating to do other wise.

What do the rest of you think?

I agree with you.. maybe she should wait a little and then say "I had a bulls eye rash"... is that what you are saying??

She does not want to take any chances as she has seen what 11 years of this has done to me.

    Anyone else???

I don't know how long they last, but if you could find out and then have her go to the dr and say she had one. I usually don't promote lying, but in desperate times it may be necessary!!!
