I was diagnosed with this about 2 years ago...I am doing a good bit better..I was pregnant and during that time it was HORRIBLE...Even to open a door hurt my hands or to feed myself..
now I am doing better EXCEPT.
both hands the area around the thumbs (like if you put your finger and thumb in a circle around the opposite thumb) STILL hurt horribly even to open a jar of baby food...does anyone know anything about this or if there is a reason it would be localized there...or any excercises (like PT) or anything...
my doc had me take 600-1000 mg of B6 daily and B1 (which is supposed to help process the B6 and most of the horrendous unremitting pain did cease with that (and magnesium injections) but I still have this thumb thing and it seems like I "reinjure" them all the time (like daily) but I'm sure I am just hyperaggravating them and the "injury" never has ended in the first place..
