My chiropractor has this new machine, and I believe it's called BioDetox something or other. What you do is stick your feet in a small tub of water and then they put this metal pipe looking thing in the water. The machine charges the water (through the pipe) with positive and negative ions that somehow are supposed to go into your body through your feet (which has the largest pores in the body, he says) and draw toxins out of the body. Don't really know how it works; I get lost in the science stuff. I've seen some of the junk that's come out of people--it's pretty nasty. One lady who'd been a hairdresser all her life had junk that smelled like perms!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here had tried anything like this, or even heard of it. I'd like to try it, but it's semi-expensive and I'm on a pretty tight budget and of course insurance doesn't pay for it.

Please let us know if you decide to do it.

Hopefully, someone will have tried this treatment and can give us some insight into the treatment.

    Love, Mikie
