Hi, Just wondering if anyone has blurring vision that comes on quickly and lasts for maybe a few minutes and then leaves. It seems to also happen mostly in the evenings.I have my eyes checked yearly and they are fine(but I do wear glasses). Is this part of Fibromyalgia too??Oh my it seems each day is a new thing going on in my body and I'm so tired of it . I know you all are to and I dont mean to whine about it but it sure gets old after so many years. (1997 DX) God Bless each of you and hang in there, with me! LOL

Have you talked to your doctor about this new symptom.

There are so many things that can cause this, that it would probably best be checked out by your medical doctor.

You are not whining in your post. Problems like your are what the board is for.

Take care and keep the board updated on how you are doing.

I get the same thing, mostly in the evenings. I've had my eyes checked and spoken to my Dr about it. I've had just about every test there is and nothing shows up.

I do have severe dry eyes and wondered if that could be the cause. I'm going to talk to my ophthamologist the next time I see him and find out if that could be the cause.

My eye doctor sent me to a eye specialist and they told my in my case it was caused from sleep apnea. To much pressure on the veins that are attaced to the back side of my eye. That was my case any way. I'm on a cpap machine now and do not have that problem any more. It could also be caused by a brain tumor so they had me do an MRI and I had no problems there. Shortly after I started my cpap machine the burry vision stopped. Please get this checked out becaues I was told that it could lead to blindness if not caught soon enough. Now every 6 months I go to my eye doctor for a check up to make sure it hasn't come back.

Yes, I have it, it comes and goes. Mine varies as to when it comes. If I awake in the morning with blurry vision then I know I am in for a bad day. This seems to be true for whatever time of day it comes.

Blurry vision, bad day or night or week. The blurry vision doesn't stay just comes and goes.

My doc said it could be from my sinuses. I had my eyes examined and no answer.

With me I think it is part of FM/CFS as I seem to blame everything on CFS/FM as well as the docs. Once they find out you have a Dx of this DD then that is the reason.

I do have dry eyes and use artificial tears but don't think that causes my blurry vision. I have even thought I about MS.

Please read my post on can't seem to take this darn DD anymore.
