My daughter-in-law ran the marathon yesterday - luckily she finished the marathon about an hour before the explosions so was in her hotel room when it happened. It feels unreal. I kept hoping it was a very bad dream. I couldn't watch the news, just snippets here and there.

I feel so sad and sick about all the people who were hurt and killed. I know we all do. I can't fathom who would do this and hope the perpetrators area caught soon!

It makes me wonder if they will ever have the marathon again --

    ...fo rposting this.

Yes, they will have it again.

But it will always hold the sadness of this one.

    Living nearby,
it has always been a very peaceful and very happy , celebratory day, for everyone.

Feel so bad for the innocent sufferers.

    SO sad....

I can't imagine what would have happened to my son and their two children if she had been badly hurt or killed, though I know there are hundreds who are suffering right now because of those blasts.

Like Leah said, it was supposed to be a happy celebratory time, it always was -
