has anyone had any success with botox injections for pain? i was told there is great doctor (not in my state) that is a pain specialist and has good success with fms patients. the injections helped for 18 months (that seemed like a long time).

i'm about ready to try anything to rid myself of these headaches and neck/shoulder pain. maybe they could numb our whole body, hehe.

    warm regards, fibolady

apart from the current fad in the cosmetic enhancement industry,it is largely used for treatment of conditions like,'Bells Palsy' and other conditions that affect the nerves.in the U.S. it is sure to be different,

If you will put Botox in the 'Search Messages' box on the top of this page, there are numerous posts on it from about this last January.

Hope you get some help soon.

I used it all over my face for headaches and had relief, but the effect was only noticable for 3 mo. max.

thanks for your replies, did pull up the search. doesn't seem this approach has helped a lot. plus, wow is it expensive! wonder how much doctors make off this? my girlfriend is going to a "botox" party so i will put an update when i hear back (she is going for her eye wrinkles).
