Bartonella can cause bruising or nodules that hurt when pressed. Sometimes the thighs feel like a dull acheThe nodules or bruises are usually felt along the outside edge of the thigh or thighs but i read someone say it hurt her down the inside of her thighs. A lower back pain can come and go too.

Hi Rena - I don't know the answer but here's a link with several possibilities -

I think you should probably see your doctor, he or she hopefully can help you find the answer -

I would go to doctor with any unexplained bruises, especially if there all over you legs, bruising is bleeding under the skin.

If you find out what it is let us know

I had problems with my legs and went to quite a few doctors and specialists and they said i had arthritis or too flexible muscles or whatever. Normally they never bothered me. Now i found out today I have lyme.

I haven't been that sick with lyme. I feel the way I would think someone with fibromyalgia would feel. I encourage anyone with fibromyalgia to have a lyme test. Just go through the motions of getting the test done. If your legs don't always feel the same, or they get inflammation sometimes, just get the blood test done.

I heard that at a very recent conference some of the lyme specialists said that more than 95% of people who think they have cfs or fibro actually turn out to have lyme. Don't be silly like me and wait for most of a lifetime to find out.
