    I was born there, never mind how many decades ago, lived in several locations...

    What's the question? Maybe somebody here will have an answer.

    I have an elderly aunt who lives in Portland, and is wanting to know how she can get a referral to a Dr. in the Compassion & Choices program. (new name of it).

    I live right outside of Portland, but I don't really know much about this program.

    I do know that they have a website, and here is a quote form that site:

    Compassion's volunteer team and staff include clergy, mental health professionals, attorneys, physicians, hospice nurses, palliative care specialists, and others experienced in dealing with terminally ill patients, their families and caregivers. Through our experience we have developed an extensive database of community resources

    I suggest you get in contact with them, and ask if you haven't already done so.
