Hey! Where ya been, old Bean?

What's the news in the world of show biz? And speaking of same, have you
heard Amanda McBroom's song "Errol Flynn?" It's my latest favorite song.

Amanda is the gal what writ "The Rose", made famous by the glamorous
Bette Middler. You can hear Amanda and/or Barbara Cook sing same on

Wish you'd come by more often. So many folks have left. Especially the
men like Ken and several whose names I can't remember.

How are you and Gary (is that right)? Gordon and I pretty much ignore
Christmas although he goes to a big family dinner at his mother's place.

As my Norskie ancestors used to say: God Jul og Godt Nytt Ar!

Happy Holidays to you and Gordon!

Gary and I are going to his folks tomorrow - large family gathering.

I haven't intentionally avoided the site. My mom is quickly declining, and I've been traveling back and forth between Chicago and Arizona. There's no temp work and no theatre work right now, so I have the time to spend with her.

I'm also trying to fill the pages of my novel, but the comedy hasn't been coming easily lately.

I'll have to check out that song on Youtube. My current fav to play is "Beautiful Sadness" as sung by Jane Olivor; which is a good indication of where my mood's been, I guess. ;)

    Take care, and chat soon!

I hope you and Gary had a nice family gathering. Gordon and I just ignored
    the whole thing.

Went to Youtube and listened to Jane Olivor. Back in the days when I had a huge
record collection, I had one of her albums. There was a song on it I especially
like, but can't remember what it was.

I asked Gordon if he was familar with her. He said she sounds a lot like Joan
Baez. Exactly what I was thinking. HaHa! I'm so old I remember when Joan
    was new.

Come back and visit when you feel like it. (Hope it's a little more often.)
