Can anyone comment on feeling a sense of not quite being here?

Although I have heard, and read about the Brain Fog, and I do admit to experiencing it. This doesn't really describe this feeling that is contently with me. It is like having one foot in the real world while the other is in a sort of netherworld. I feel like a shadow, like I'm in a constant battle for to remain conscious. Does anyone else experience this?

    Welcome to the Board.

I've had brain fog for 20-some years and am now slipping into Alzheimer's.
Eventually I'll be able to run for office.

Brain fog to me means forgetfulness and confusion. I try to be extra careful
and pay extra attention to what I'm doing, but this really doesn't help too
much. Yesterday I took a can of Coke outta the fridge whereupon it
    immediately vanished.

I have also delegated as much as possible to my partner. He pays my bills,

Have you talked to a doctor? I know there is an Alzheimer's med w/ a name
like aricept. Don't know if that would help you or not. My aunt just told me
that one of her friends w/ Alzheimer's improved when she stopped taking

    Good luck
