Gosh, it seems all I'm doing any more is venting. It's just frustrating, because I was doing fairly well for a couple of months. The fatigue was still an issue, but I wasn't as achy, and the low-grade fevers had subsided greatly. Now, I've got what feels like the perpetual flu, and I don't know how to cope with it. I try to stay active and get out of the house with my son alot, because I don't like to just lay on the couch or in bed all the time. But, it seems that lately I can barely stand without feeling weak.

I'm going to begin my search for a CFS specialist in this area. Even if I have to travel a little bit, I will. I just want someone who is knowledgable about CFS and treatments, and who can get me to a place where I can function again. Because what I'm doing now is definitely not working.

Gentle hugs to all, and enjoy your weekend. It's raining here, and I have to work 3pm to 11pm today and tomorrow. But, I like my job even though it is physically demanding. It gives me something to do and makes me feel productive.

    Take care,
    Kim

You cant give up. but you are allowed to quit fighting for a brief period. Ive been there, a lot lately and I know how you feel. So I guess my answer to you really should be, okay you can give up but only for a little while. Hey, you know it takes energy to fight this damn disease and sometimes you have to choose what you spend your precious energy on. I sincerely jope you feel better soon.

Gentle Hugs and a pat on the back, we're here for you and you can vent as much as you need to.

There is a website co-cure.org that can provide you names and numbers of doctors in Penn. that treat CFS. This is how I found my doctor.
