    hey everyone,

I have had chronic fatigue since last November, and have had many kinds of tests. However, I was having no pain. About two weeks ago, my fatigue got really really bad, after moving in with my dad. Ever since then, the fatigue has gotten a little better, but not I am starting to have random pains that I've never experienced before, particularly in my fingers, and sometimes my knees or elbow. It's not that painful at all, but it is very noticeable. Anyone know what to make of this?

I have had CFIDS for mor than 4 years now and am sorry to tell you that joint pain is one of the symptoms of this DD.

Mine varies from just achey to downright painful and will roam around or will target a few places at once. No rhyme or reason--and I haven't been able to figure out a trigger either. The duration is also unpredictable. Weird huh?

Still mention it to your Dr. to rule out anything else.

I am seeing an allergist next Wednesday, and a CFS specialist next Tuesday. I am going to bring up the Guai protocol to the CFS guy, because I see that people have been having some success with this. I am determined to fight for my health back, and I welcome the challenge.

what my son experienced - lots of fatigue, and then weird pains that came and went.

He was recently dx'd with Lyme; you might want to look into it. Before that he had neuro symptoms that we ascribed to adolescence. But not everyone gets that.

If you do look into it, go to, find the message board at and get a referral to a lyme-literate MD.

    all the best,

This sounds like fibromyalgia; I have it in every joint of my body as well as the muscles. Yes, it's random & seems to affect different body parts at any one time. Hope your doctor can help you.

I had CFS for three years before it became severe with FMS.
