CFS AND FIBROMYALGIA ARE NOW ON SOCIAL SECURITY'S "LIST OF IMPARMENTS"!!!

    The law is called:
SSR 99-2p: POLICY INTERPRETATION RULING TITLES II AND XVI:
EVALUATING CASES INVOLVING CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME (CFS)

Here is a link to the entire law text: http://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/rulings/di/01/SSR99-02-di-01.html

Thank you so much for posting this.

I am sure it will help all who are just beginning the process of
    applying for SSDI benefits.

It is hard to plow through it, but very worthwhile. I suggest any
person in the process print it out and highlight the important
parts about symptoms that need to be reported to their drs,
and especially the part about keeping a journal about their
    daily experiences.

It is also very helpful to know that a third party that is not even
medically trained can submit statements on behalf of a
claimant; I have done so for several people, and it works!

    Thank you again, Many Hugs!

p.s. Maybe this is in the PH section on S.S. above, I don't
know; however, there are so many posts there, I think it
would be hard to find it if it is there. Maybe you could ask
PH if it's there, or the original poster?
