CFS & FMS Mentioned Like Real Diseases

    There's a sad story about a family who come down with CFS and then were later also diagnosed with FMS in California mentioned in this article in the San Francisco Chronicle about the Economic Downturn. I feel badly for the family affected but I am pleased to see that CFS and FMS were explained in a way that showed how devastating they can be and they were treated the same as any other disabling illnesses would be:

    I wrote the author, Chris Colin an email thanking him for doing a good job mentioning our DDs and suggested that he may want to write articles about CFS and FMS.

    You're rt - the author of the article just mentioned CFS and FM like they are well-known, non-controversial diagnoses and showed that they can be financially devastating....nice to know that not everyone in the general public views financial issues associated with CFS and FM as just being lazy or malingering, etc
