It not only made CNN but made the cover page (under the 2 health articles for the day). Very exciting! What a breakthrough. I hope the studies in Georgia to replicate what was done in Wichita with more people are successful.

The study indicates that there are genetic triggers, or differences in the genes, or defects, if you will, I prefer differences, which lead to the ability of stressers, mental, physical, etc. which can, when applied in certain levels, or in a cumulative effect, which can result in these genetic differences clicking in or not clicking in, and the result is an immune system and hypothelamic/pituitary/adrenal malfunction.

This is not saying it is emotional. It is saying it is a stressor situation, and even though the stresss may be emotional, they are STRESSES WHICH ACTIVATE THE BASIC, FIGHT/FLIGHT SYSTEM IN THE BODY. The genetic differences or DNA/genetic differences of some individuals are aligned so when the stressors are so severe, or accumulate, these genetic markers or defects malfunction and send the person into immune and other disfunction which results in CF or FM.

Once these genetic defects are clearly depicted and identifiable, THEN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY WILL HAVE TO IDENTIFY AND ADMIT THAT THEY ARE SERIOUS DISORDERS, OVER WHICH THE PATIENT HAS NO CONTROL, AND THAT THEY AREN'T JUST HEAD CASES.

If this study is duplicated,we will at least, be respected, and with the defects identified, then legitimate treatments MAY BE ON THE HORIZON.
