Check what's in your flu shot....

    I asked for a printout of what was in the flu shot...and, yes, it had Thimerosal, which is a mercury derivative used as a
    preservative. For those that are chemically sensitive, I would think twice before putting mercury into your system.

    Hi Teri I got the flu injection a few years ago and never again.

    I felt so bad the day after I could hardly get out of bed. I didnt know what \I was doing I was so disorionted.

    I think anyone that has Chemical Sensivities like I have should avoid it.

    due to the fact it has Thimerosal I had a very severe reaction to this preservative more than once. It is in nasal sprays and even contact solutions and your childs DPT shots.

    I'm seriously thinking about getting white cotton gloves and a doctor's mask to wear throughout the season. Only I'm afraid everyone would laugh. Do carry anti-bacterial wipes in my purse. However, with my son in preschool, avoiding flus may be a lost battle already :(.
