Do you get chest pains that feel like you are having a heart attack? And if so, has a doctor ever told you it is caused by your Fibro?
I have been told in the past 6 years that they could be:
    coronary spasms (angina)
    esophageal spasms.
I take 3 nitro sprays 5 min. apart and use O2. They generally last 45 minutes and the spasms really HURT!!
After many tests (cath included) I have been given a clean bill on my heart.
So, does this type of pain sound familiar to anyone? Have you ever gone to the ER for this type of pain?

A woman who used to run a support group that I went to used to get chest pain that felt like a heart attack. It was not due to heart problems. She said it was theFM. However, she always used to say if anyone got chest pain it was important to treat it seriously..don't just assume FM.

Also, I have seen this symptom mentioned in FM literature, and was said to be connected to bending forward (eg over a desk) a lot.

I wander if stretching the area daily may be helpful?
