I was just wondering if anyone has been involved in any clinical trials. My hubby heard something on the radio about one in our area. It is for a new drug called "Pregabalin" that has been approved in Europe but not in the US yet. I looked it up and it is supposed to help with the pain of FM. I called about it yesterday and I would have to go off all my meds. I currently take Avinza (time released morphine) and vicodin (breakthroug pain) and lexapro (anxiety). I have missed a dose of the Avinza a couple of times by accident and just felt absolutely horrible. I don't notice much when I take it but sure notice if I don't take it. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this or had experience with a Clinical Trial?? I read really good stuff about this new med but can't imagine going off my meds. I would want to discuss this with my Rhuemy of course first.
